Our philosophy
Speed and judgment.
Working together.
SYST3M (“system three”) brings human judgment and AI capability into one working system. The task determines the context, tools, and depth of thought it needs.
The idea behind the name
Fast when it helps.
Depth where it matters.
Inspired by Daniel Kahneman’s Thinking, Fast and Slow.
Daniel Kahneman’s Thinking, Fast and Slow describes System 1 as fast and automatic; System 2 as deliberate and effortful. That distinction inspires our System 3 thinking.
Our design philosophy gives people and AI clear roles. A routine handoff and an unfamiliar decision need different context, effort, and review. The scaffold makes those choices explicit.
We test those choices with the people doing the work. Evidence and feedback guide reviewed changes to the system and its knowledge.
Our values
Principles you can see
in the work.
Our values become working rules: who decides, what information is needed, and how change is reviewed.
-
01
Start with people.
Work that fits the people using it.
Employees help define the work, test changes, and shape the result. Practical training strengthens their judgment and confidence.
-
02
Share the work deliberately.
A clear role for people and AI.
Define what runs automatically, what needs review, and who owns exceptions. People can question, correct, and redirect the work.
-
03
Match the effort to the task.
Useful results with proportionate time and cost.
Match model capability, reasoning, and token budgets to the task. Use simpler tools when they meet the need. Evaluate quality, time, and cost together.
-
04
Build to adapt and scale.
Room to grow. Less work repeated.
Keep the shared definition clear as tools change. Version capabilities, document interfaces, and reuse what works. Plan ownership and maintenance from the start.
-
05
Keep knowledge connected.
Context people can check.
Give context a source, owner, access rule, and review date. Make gaps visible and check whether the information is sufficient for the task.
-
06
Make improvement observable.
A reason to trust the next step.
Agree on success, test real cases, and review outcomes with the team. Use feedback and operating costs to decide what to refine, expand, or stop.
These principles guide our consulting, custom AI, company knowledge, training, and ongoing execution.
